Personal Days

Eligible employees are allowed 3 paid personal days per calendar year of personal time. Personal time is intended to cover situations which may arise out of family commitments, such as, but not limited to, sickness or hospitalization of a family member, closing on a personal residence, taking a family member to college, placing a parent in a nursing home, doctor appointment, and/or parent/teacher conferences. All full-time employees are eligible for these benefits.

Where possible, the employee must pre-arrange the personal time off with Ateki Management. Personal time off must be taken in at least two hour increments and personal time may not be used for personal illness or while on a leave of absence. In case of resignation or termination, no unused personal time is paid to the employee. In the event that the available personal time is not used by the end of the calendar year, it may not be carried over to the next calendar year.
